Job Position: Inventory - 1st Shift
Location: Hardeeville, SC 29927
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 7:30am to 5:00pm Mon - Fri (May be asked to work weekends from time to time)
Coastal Employment is hiring an Inventory Specialist on behalf of our client, a well-established warehouse logistics company. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock flow, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory, working with warehouse teams to identify root causes.
Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments.
Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and improve stock management.
Coordinate inventory transfers and monitor stock levels to meet operational needs.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage and organization.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Recommend and implement process improvements for inventory control and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
Familiarity with inventory software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to [insert weight limit]).
